About us

This is an independent guide to the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. We built it to put what you need in one place: opening hours, entry rules, how to get there and practical tips for the visit.

We are not the Vatican Museums, the Governorate of Vatican City State or the Fabbrica di San Pietro, and this is not the official website. We do not run the museums or the Basilica and we do not use their logos, coats of arms or images. The names of the places are used only to describe them.

The tickets and visits featured here are sold by a partner company, a third party. Opening hours and rules come from the bodies that manage the sites, and we note when we last checked them. If you spot a mistake, write to us and we will fix it.
